I have a PhD (2019) in Sociology from The University of Edinburgh, investigating transnational fashion and apparel related efforts and activism in the wake of the 2013 Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh.
I found my way to the PhD after working for a long time on Social Alterations, an online education resource on social and environmental challenges associated with the global fashion and apparel industry.
When I am not teaching or writing, you’ll find me playing with knowledge dissemination projects.
