About

The University of Edinburgh, Buccleuch Place

I am College Professor (Sociology) at Okanagan College (British Columbia, Canada), I have a PhD in Sociology from The University of Edinburgh (2019), where I investigated transnational fashion and apparel related efforts and activism in the wake of the 2013 Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh.

I found my way to the PhD after working for a long time on Social Alterations, an online education resource on social and environmental challenges associated with the global fashion and apparel industry.

When I am not teaching or writing, you’ll find me playing with knowledge dissemination projects.
